On Christmas Eve, I was in All Saints' Church, Godshill (and I have to keep mentally correcting myself — it's "God's hill", not "God shill"!). I was agreeing with people that it's a very lovely building, but I seem to be spoiled for Grade I listings after Cambridge, that may not have impressed me as much as they'd expected…

If only the carol service had been as fine as the architecture. /-8
